In 2024, Julien returns with a vibrant EP that he crafted with meticulous care, paying particular attention to details, especially the groove and instrumental parts he composed from scratch. To enrich his work, he collaborated with session musicians from around the world to play the bass, brass, and hammond organ parts.

The basic idea for the track "I'm Gonna Shine" had been ready for some time, but Julien was working on several pieces simultaneously. He eventually decided to focus on this track for production. Thinking of singer Max C, whose hit "I Found U" with Axwell made Julien an absolute fan, he had long desired to collaborate with him. The contact was established between the two artists, and Max worked on the vocals, proposing two verses to Julien in the following days.

The foundation was solid, but a chorus was still needed, which was no obstacle for Max C, who is used to working on global hits. A few days later, Max returned with an irresistible chorus, and "I'm Gonna Shine" finally came to life.

From the first listens, Julien was very enthusiastic about the vibe, and the chorus stuck in his head, filling him with joy and excitement – a very good sign. In June 2023, he spent the following weeks refining the instrumental with his team of musicians, perfecting the arrangement and the mix. As a perfectionist, Julien paid close attention to every detail. The track fits into a dance trend, combining funk and disco elements with modern production, with Julien surrounding himself with top professional musicians and sound engineers.

Julien didn’t stop there and also produced a longer "Classic House Mix" version, designed for dance floors. This version brims with energy, featuring a recurring bass groove and punchy brass hits supported by an unstoppable rhythm. It quickly gained favor with international DJs like
Hard Rock Sofa and FM radio stations worldwide after its release on May 24.

The original version, in a more radio-friendly format, was favored on streaming platforms like Spotify, reaching over a million listeners thanks to its inclusion in major playlists and support from renowned artists like
Axwell.

Upon release, the original version was acclaimed by fans of dance, funk, and disco music, climbing into the top 100 on Traxsource and staying there for four weeks, also receiving a highlight from the Traxsource editorial team.

The reception of the track by the general public has been excellent, promising a bright future for "I'm Gonna Shine"!
